Winter Wonderland 2025 at the Dream Center
Join us for one of the most joyful events of the year - Winter Wonderland at the Dream Center! This special day is all about bringing families together to celebrate the birth of our Savior, and experience the hope of this season. The Dream Center comes alongside parents and caregivers so they are able to provide a special Christmas for their family.
During Winter Wonderland, parents have the opportunity to select and wrap donated gifts as their children enjoy making holiday crafts. Families share a meal together while hearing the story of Jesus’ birth. It’s a beautiful day of community and celebration!

Dreamsgiving Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway
Thanksgiving 2025: Dreamsgiving at the Dream Center
This Thanksgiving, the Dream Center is honored to bless our community by giving away 300 fried turkeys and complete holiday meals to families who are struggling to put food on their tables.
Our team will be preparing for this incredible outreach on Monday, November 24th and Wednesday, November 26th. It will take more than 100 volunteers all day Wednesday to fry turkeys, pack food boxes, distribute meals, and pray with families as they come through.
You can be a part of this special day in two ways:

Giving Season at the DeSoto County Dream Center
We appreciate your support of the DeSoto County Dream Center and love sharing with you all of the activities that will be happening over the next couple of months. While this time can be such an incredible season filled with joy and wonder, for families experiencing hardship, the holidays can be filled with stress, loneliness and despair. The Dream Center is committed to coming alongside adults and caregivers in need, and giving them the opportunity to care for their children and families. Giving Season at the Dream Center is about providing a hand-up, and not a hand-out. Backpack Giveaway
We are excited to host a backpack and school supply giveaway on July 12, 2025 for 1,500 children from Title One Schools. Each student, with the help of a shopper, will have the opportunity to fill their backpack with school supplies and have a prayer partner say a prayer blessing for them as they begin the new school year. Hot dogs, chips, bounce house fun, sno cones and other games for the kids will be available at the event.
We need over 170 volunteers to run this family-fun event!

Let's show our appreciation for the educators and staff in DeSoto County! Volunteer with us on Wednesday, May 7th from 9 am to 3 pm as we pack gift bags for approximately 5,000 school staff members thanks to the generosity of Homer Skelton Charitable Foundation. We will be hosting families from the Dream Center. This will be a time for the entire family to come together and celebrate the season. During Winter Wonderland, the parents wrap the donated gifts, the children make crafts, and the families eat while hearing the story about Jesus’ birth.
This event will be held at the DeSoto County Dream Center on Saturday, December 14th from 8am-5pm.

DREAM Backpack Food Drive
DREAM BACKPACK
When students leave school for the weekend, the last thing they should worry about is how they will get their next meal. The Dream Center works with schools to identify students in need and provide them with a backpack. Each backpack provides a nutritious supply of food for children to replace the school meals they miss during extended breaks from school.

SMILE Again 2024
SMILE Again is a free, one-day dental event organized by the DeSoto County Dream Center and Advanced Dental Implant and TMJ Center for those 18 and older without dental care living in the North Mississippi area.
We have many opportunities to serve as a volunteer on August 16th. Volunteer areas include check-in, prayer team, dental and medical volunteers, and others. This event will take place at Happy Smiles Horn Lake (2154 Goodman Rd W #1, Horn Lake, MS 38637.)

Light the Way 2024
LIGHT THE WAY
The Desoto County Dream Center is honored to host volunteers at the Light the Way Music Festival - Olive Branch, MS on July 5th and 6th at the Olive Branch City Park. Besides top Christian artists and an amazing fireworks show, there will be a prayer tent, baptism pool and lots of family fun. From artist merch tents to kids zone, security and prayer teams, there's a place for everyone to volunteer.
