At the DeSoto County Dream Center, we believe no child or family should have to face hunger or go without basic necessities. Through our DREAM Backpack Program and Emergency Needs Pantry, we provide food and essential items to children and families throughout our community.

As the need continues to grow, we need more food than ever before. More children are relying on our Backpack Program for food to take home, and more families are turning to our Emergency Needs Pantry for help putting meals on the table.

We are able to meet these needs because of the incredible generosity of our community. Food drives, in-kind donations, and individuals who give directly help keep our shelves stocked and our programs moving. Every donation makes a tangible difference, filling a child's backpack, helping a family prepare a meal, and reminding our neighbors that they are not alone.

You can make an impact by donating non-perishable food and new clothing with tags, hosting a food drive with your church, business, school, or community group, or shopping our Amazon Wish Listto send needed items directly to the Dream Center.

Each DREAM Backpack is packed with a variety of kid-friendly, easy-to-prepare items that help nourish students over the weekend. Host a food drive, or contribute everything needed to fill a backpack and feed a child.
