Volunteer Spotlight: Grace

Since this past April, Grace Gill has been a steady, welcoming presence at the front desk of Trinity Health Center. In just a few short months, she has already poured an incredible 256 hours and 45 minutes into her role as our receptionist, becoming a vital anchor for our patients and clinic staff alike.

Grace’s journey to Trinity Health Center, The healthcare arm of the DeSoto County Dream Center in Horn Lake, began during a challenging season. After navigating some health hurdles that naturally brought a period of isolation, Grace knew she wanted to find a meaningful way to step back out, give back, and build deep, genuine connections with people again.

She hopped onto Google to look for local volunteer opportunities where she could make a difference. Growing up with a mother who works in the medical field, Grace felt an immediate, familiar connection to healthcare, and Trinity Health Center felt like the perfect fit.

Since day one, Grace has brought both excellence and a deeply compassionate heart to the front desk. She has a unique gift for making every patient who walks through our doors feel instantly seen, safe, and valued from the moment they arrive. She took a season that felt disconnected and turned it into a beautiful ministry of connection.

"I was really just looking for a way to give back and be around people again," Grace shared. "Trinity has been the perfect place to do that."

Thank you, Grace, for your beautiful heart, your incredible dedication, and for being such a bright light to our neighbors!
