Food and Clothing

The Dream Center ministers locally to our community through our food and clothing pillars. We have an Emergency Needs Closet that is open on Wednesdays from 11am - 1pm. This closet meets needs to those going through a crisis until they can get connected to a more permanent solution. We also host Adopt-A-Block where were go into the community. Our food and clothing pillars are also implemented through large outreaches such as our Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway, Winter Wonderland and Backpack Giveaway.

Adopt-A-Block

This outreach allows immediate needs of individuals to be met on a consistent basis leading to valuable relationships and a brighter future for DeSoto County.

The goal of Adopt-A-Block is to build relationships and the key to success is consistency. When Adopt-A-Block launches at a specific location, it is a promise to the community that we will be here to serve you for years to come. Your commitment to the community will be speak louder than anything else.

Meeting the immediate needs of the community is the fastest way to build relationships and gain influence to speak into someone’s potential. Immediate needs of the community may include: food, clothing, activities for children, painting graffiti, and picking up trash.

Receiving Donations

The DeSoto County Dream Center accepts new clothing and shoes for our Emergency Needs Pantry. We also accept non-perishable food.
